OUR SPROCKETS
At DROP Sprockets we do one thing and that's build sprockets, FAST! We build our sprockets to industry and engineering standards. With complete production in house, we control the manufacturing process from start to finish, guaranteeing you the right sprocket for your needs.
We manufacture from a wide array of materials including C1045, C1050, C1055, AR400, QT400, urethane, stainless steel, and other custom materials. With dedicated engineers to help you with your order, we will build you the best sprocket for your application. A common question we hear is "what material is best for my application?", often stemming from a customer experiencing a loading or engineering issue within existing components. Increasing the material hardness is only a partial fix, only moving the problem up or downstream to another component. The profile and accuracy of a component can often be overlooked. DROP's method of balancing both materials and profile accuracy together increases efficiency while reducing potential downtime, giving you a better performing product.

SEGMENTED SPROCKETS
Segmental Sprockets (also known as replaceable Tooth Sprockets) are utilized for a few different applications depending on the chain specifications and required operational efficiency. At DROP Sprockets all of our sprockets can be made as Segmental Sprockets for easy replaceability and or chain alignment and adjustment when running multiple chains; accounting for stretch over time in the chain aligning your attachments for the correct transport of a material to the next operation.
With a number of hardening processes based on your application; some options are flame, induction through hardened, and or stress relieved and tempered.

Double single (DS) sprockets are used in systems where two individual chains are driven by one shaft. In contrast to multi-strand sprockets that use one chain with several sets of chain walls and pins, DS sprockets use two single strand chains, hence the name “double single sprocket”. They are not compatible with double-strand roller chain (aka duplex chain).
